CNC Machined Components & Precision Manufacturing Services
METCO provides in-house CNC machining services to support customers requiring precision-machined parts, fabricated weldments with machined features, and complete manufacturing solutions from a single supplier. Hence, by adding machining capability directly to our operation, we can better control quality, shorten lead times, and reduce the need for outside processing.
Machining Capabilities

METCO Metal Fab is equipped with two Haas vertical machining centers and a Haas CNC lathe, allowing us to produce accurate, repeatable components. Therefore, we are able to support customers for prototype, low-volume, and production manufacturing requirements.
Whether your design involves machined brackets, mounting plates, housings, fixtures, shafts, spacers our cooperation is effective and experienced employees review designs for manufacturability. Additionally, weldments requiring secondary machining, or replacement components for legacy equipment are part of the menu we offer. Lastly, our team can help move parts from print to production efficiently keeping your project moving along.

Machining Capabilities
Haas VF-4SS Vertical Machining Center
- Complex 3-axis machined components X=48″ Y=18″ Z=23″
- Drilling, reaming, tapping, countersinking, counter-boring, face milling, chamfering, pocket milling, helical interpolation milling.
- Machining Tolerances +/-0.005″ or better when necessary
- Low Carbon Steel, Stainless, Aluminum, Copper, Brass and many more metals
The widest part this machine can produce is 48″. Furthermore, the deepest part it can machine is 18″ but we can increase it with smart holder placement or interior opening, when they are present. Additionally, the highest part can be 23″ in Z-Axis which is quite a large part. Our forklifts assist in loading and unloading of heavy machined parts. When the side door is opened a part up to 84″ can be machined with multiple setups.

Haas VF-2 Vertical Machining Centers
- Shafts, pins, bushings, spacers, and cylindrical components
- Prototype and production quantities
- Secondary operations to support fabricated assemblies
Additionally, we can add rolling supports if a narrow long part needs to be machined. However, it may require multiple setups. As a result, more than one Datum may be necessary, depending on the design and application.

Haas TL-2 CNC Lathe
- Precision turning operations
- Shafts, pins, bushings, spacers, and cylindrical components
- Prototype and production quantities
- Secondary operations to support fabricated assemblies

Materials Machined
Our equipment supports machining of a wide range of materials, including:
- Carbon Steel
- Stainless Steel
- Aluminum
- Brass & Bronze
- Engineering Plastics
Fabrication + Machining Under One Roof
Many fabricated parts require machining after welding or forming to achieve critical dimensions and assembly fit. By combining laser cutting, forming, welding, and machining in-house, METCO can streamline production while reducing handling, transportation, and scheduling delays.
This integrated approach helps customers receive complete parts faster and provides greater confidence that dimensional requirements are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
Built for Production
Our investment in new machining centers expands METCO’s ability to support customers facing long lead times, capacity constraints, and growing production demands. From a single machined component to production quantities of completed assemblies, our team is focused on delivering quality parts on schedule.
